Her hand trembled slightly as she picked it up. The paper was thick, expensive-feeling, and had her name written in elegant cursive on the outside. Inside was a single sentence that made her blood run cold:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I know what really happened to Patient 23.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Elena sank to the floor, her back against the door. Patient 23.
