You Will Be Happy

Bill was not comfortable about Andrew coming in for a chat. He very well knew what that  chat was going to be about. He was averse to the idea of Andrew moving in, no way! Andrew, on the other hand was insistent and was coming despite Bill’s reluctance to let him.

Finally, the door bell rang and Andrew walked in, almost ignoring Bill, and sat in the sofa facing the door, “Boring bloody traffic,” he said, shaking his head in disgust, “but this place is good, close to the busy road, but still peacefully away. Love it.”

“Some coffee?” asked Bill.

“No, I am fine. I don’t have much stuff of my own,” Andrew continued, while Bill sat there twiddling his thumbs. Then he finally spoke, “Andrew, it may not be very convenient for both of us.”

“Both? Why? I have no problems moving in and I don’t see how it will be inconvenient for you. I would not have even mentioned this to you, if I had the slightest doubt about your inconvenience; in fact it will be mutually beneficial. Yes, I have other options, but what is unique here is that more than me, you will be happy in the end.”

“Are you sure? I have not even begun to see how I am going to take it.”
